About Sunnmøre
Filming in the land of peaks and fjords
Sunnmøre is located on the west coast of Norway. In Norway, Sunnmøre is known for its spectacular alpine scenery. The most prominent feature of this region is the steep mountains rising straight up from the fjords. Due to their jagged peaks the mountains are an imposing sight and five months a year they are covered in snow, all the way down to the fjords.
The region has a wide array of features like glaciers, waterfalls, lakes, forests, mountains, villages and a spectacular coastline.
Sunnmøre is in itself a miniature version of Norway. The variety of different locations is impressive and many of them are world class locations.
Frost Locations has divided Sunnmøre into three parts; Coastline Sunnmøre, Peak Sunnmøre and Fjordland Sunnmøre.
